“Thursdays: Our History” series will kick off for the season with an open-mic discussion of the record-breaking 1986 flood. The program will start at 7 pm Sept. 17 with a video of the flood produced by then-teacher Dan Walker’s eighth-grade class.

People who lived through the devastating flood will then get a chance to share their stories with the audience in the library & museum Community Room. You’ll learn how one of the Harbor Lights Condo units became the W.H. Seward Yacht Club clubhouse.
